Default odd problem with car, need help diagnosing

ok whats up everyone... here is the deal ....my car has been running just fine... now 4 days ago while driving home from work i give the car some gas, and it pulled nicely, and when i let off the gas i noticed a little cloud of smoke come out of the exhaust.....well i get off the expressway and get home, turn the car off and go to sleep.. well i start the car when im leaving for work around 12hrs later, car starts fine...well i back out of my driveway and as i start to pull away as i accellerate it sounds as if the turbo is in the car with me spooling.....well i have a front mount so after i get off of work i decide to double check all the connections in the piping none are leaking....so i baby it home, cause now the car wont build any boost at part throttle (like when you re-activate the cruise control) it hits 0 vacume and thats the farthest it goes...so by this point i am stumped... car is idling fine at 20vac, i check the intake piping and all spots after the maf are nice and sealed.....and yet when i get on the gas it sounds as if my car is a deisel (not the engine, but the turbo) ....i checked the exhaust for leaks and pulled off the downpipe and the turbine wheel looks fine....well i have a one piece header, but after checking all the welds are still sound...and the only place on it that i feel it may be leaking from is the flex joint where the downpipe meets the header.... i have yet to check the compressor side of the turbo to see if there is excessive play or damage to the wheel.....so please if anyone has any ideas on what could be the problem please let me know.... thank you
