Default Oil leak on oil filter?

So I'm leaking oil which seems to be coming from my oil filter, the oil filter is on snug so it's not like it's loose. From driving the oil is basically all over the bottom of my car so it's hard to determine the exact leak location. I have 81k miles...
My car was sitting for about 2 weeks without being started and it started leaking after I started driving, but it was not leaking before it sat there.
Anybody have any similar issues or any resolutions?

Are you sure you got the old oil filter seal off when you replaced the oil filter?

I've heard from more than one person who has had this happen. Always check sealing surface.
