Is it me or does it look like an overlayed CF hood?

i wonder if underneath the "CF" if the color is PSM, and if so, will taking off the overlay mess up the paint?

would anyone know?

is it possible to peel back a corner to check? because the underside of the hood looks silver but im not sure if it would be just a primered hood, or a different color.

Thanks

if you use a heat gun and then remove it slowly sometimes you save the paint if there was anything paint damage under the overlay it will pull up what ever was damaged

take a magnet to the hood or tap it and if its a metal surface its an overlay
