I'll have more info after we go.

They have a daily license or a yearly license. It appears that you don't have to get dressed up in a fire suit (never really understood that at F1 indoors). Both adult karts and kids carts. Kids as young as 10 can drive the kids karts (without going through an unbearably long training course) and older kids can ride the adult karts. My son is taller than I am now but 16 without a license, so has been an issue with F1 (he can't ride). So he's in.

For us guys in Eastern Mass, it's a bit out there, but no farther than Wallingford. Just north of Hamp in Hatfield.

I drive by this place everyday on my way to work. Never thought anything of it. If you guys want I can stop by and take a few pics. Driving my Yaris hatchback every day is enough of a karting experience for me

Looks pretty small, course layout reminds of the old Kart Track place in the Windsor CT area with 11 seconds laps. Hope it's a fun place!

In the masslive article, they say the owner was doing 20 second laps. My son did calculations from a race and the average was 32 seconds. No matter......I can go and drive karts anywhere, while my kids stand there and watch....or go to this place and they both can drive.

10$ for a membership and then 20$ a race? Is that normal for this type of place?

I just looked over at F1 Boston. $10 day license and $28 a race.

Haven't been but I do the owner and I am good friends with their web manager. Great group of guys that run the place. They have deals all the time for licenses and races. I'm hoping to get there soon and will give my .02 cents.

This place in Haverhill, MA is tinly, but the carts are actually decent for as small as the track is.

Ok, a non-picture review. Went out with my son today and just got home. Very laid back, even when I veg'd out and took an extra lap by mistake after the finish. Very well run. I found that about 2 laps before a session ended, I started thinking "I wonder when we're done cause my arms are killing me". Not a lot of people on the track at once while we were there. No waits. The track was slick enough that if you wanted to be drift king, you could but the karts could be finessed to improve lap times with proper lines and speeds. Both my son and I started in about 24 second laps and were in 19.6, 19.7 by the end of our second time out. I talked with the owner (Ryan) and he is planning to introduce packages for families and specials during school vacation weeks. We both bought yearly passes. That's $50 and you get one race right away and another on the month of your birthday. I did F1 indoors maybe 4 years ago and the karts seemed the same to me. No fire suit needed. You can bring your own helmet (I did).

To me, the fact that they allow anyone 16 or older on the track in the adult karts and 10 and older in the kids karts works for me (my older is 16 and younger is 12).

Overall, I liked it.

Did they mix kid karts and adults in the same session? Have you been to the place in Wallingford to compare?

They run adults in different sessions than kids.

Check their website or give them a call. I know that when I checked their site last, it was even slower than nasioc. :P Speaking with the owner, he did plan a number of discounts during vacation weeks and such. During the xmas break, he was doing buy 2, get 1 free deals. He talked to me about possibly doing a family membership with less restrictive free days. With the yearly membership, you get a race right away and a race in your birth month, not just 2 races whenever you want.
