Default Looking for quality 4 point harness for auto-x/track schools

Something simple, that uses current seat belt securing points, and leaves that seat belt in place. I know Orion has a set up like this, but I do not know what brand it is.

thanks

Default sparco 4 pt camlock

I use a Sparco 4 point camlock harness which can be made into a 5-6 point if you have the bottom strap. Its a 2" harness but uses the same camlock as the 3" race spec'd ones. The passenger seat has a sparco 2" 3 pt double release harness which is of lesser quality by far than the 4 pt. I paid about 140$ for the 4 pt camlock, but its an amazing quality. The only problem is that its tough to bolt it in as the bolt plates dont agree with the stock seat belt bolt locations in the car 100%. PM me for more details if you want.

The one Brett posted it much better than my Sabelt Clubman 3 pt. I like mine, but the Scroth is SO much nicer to adjust and get comfortable in and IIRC its more friendly to mount. The Sablet has issues similar to what fengshui-fu described.

I hope you will be using a roll bar for the track. It is very dangerous to use harnesses without one (roll over situatios, the roof can collapse, and you will NOT be able to get your head down with harnesses on. Stock belts would be safer if you are not using a roll bar, as you are able to duck down.

I agree. If you don't have a rollbar, only use a harness like the Rallye 4 for autocrossing. Use your factory belts for the street and track.

Thanks. I know better than to ever use a set up like this on the street, w/o roll bar. I was only looking for better control during auto-x, as I am a big fug and move around a bit. I will look into it further.

Thanks

J

edit- Brett, is this the applicable belt ?http://store.yahoo.com/soloracerdotcom/rallye4.html

Ahh yes, I forgot to mention what subyguy2 and Brett said. It's for AutoX use only. I didn't wear it at TWS. They won't let you use a harness without a proper harness bar and for good reason.
