Default Legacy turbo engine ID

I am looking at a tubo subaru engine but I dont know if It is one of the old loyale engines or a legacy engine.
It says Turbo 4wd on the intake and the throttle body is pointing up. It is multi port fuel inj. and the turbo manifolding goes in front of the engine.
Is this a legacy engine? Does anyone have pics of a stock legacy engine? How do I ID It? Any help would be great...
Thanks

Default Loyal turbo?

Did the Loyal come in a turbo? Is it a 2.2 liter engine? This would be a great engine to tune if it is. 8:1 compression should be no problem to drive with a ball bearing turbo. I thought that the Legacy turbo used an A/W intercooler setup. Front mounted radiator. Maybe you can check the serial number on the engine and call a subaru dealer. They should be able to tell you.
