Default Do you drive your subie everywhere??

Ok...some of you might laugh but im controlling my driving urges to drive the subie everywhere....But I love driving....long driving trips!
Before the RS i had a faithful companion, a 93 Mazda Mx6 which i drove so much that when i traded her in, she had 206K miles on it....
I then purchase a 2005 2.5RS before the STi, got her in Dec 2004 as a bday gift since back then i couldnt afford the STi or the rex... and drove her like crazy cos i loved it so much. A couple of trips to St.Louis and Atlanta... by the end of the year (~9months) before i sold it to a good friend of mine..it had 32Kmiles on it..dropped the value of the car like a wet brick!
After which i bought a 04 STi with 14K miles on it in December...and have so far put 3K on it....I m I just crazy or not thinking straight....or do you guys do or think the same???

laters,

zmaster

I drive mine everywhere, but I don't have a choice Not that it matters, because I do enjoy driving and I'd rather drive with many of my friends than let them drive

If you really want to keep the miles down get a beater fortunately the STi isn't going anywhere so it's not like you have to keep it at super low miles as a collector car (unless that's your goal ).

I've got 25K miles on my 02 WRX (1st allotment car purchased in 01) and when I do drive it, I take it everywhere, fortunately I have a few options in terms of what to drive in the morning and trains and planes are also options for my daily grind.

Cars are not investments. They are made to be driven. Worry less about what its going to be worth and just enjoy it.

I had my rs last year and I took it from 51,500 miles too 78,655 before someone cut me off in a snow storm and totalled it. Since then, I've learned that a winter beater is a must have- Ive only put 10k on my rs-t
