Type of behavior? Please, I was just explaining why. Go cry somewhere else. This isn't the place for crayons and unicorns. Just because something is unique, doesn't mean its useful.

People just hate to be wrong.

Apparently you can't even give constructive criticism on here, unless its "NEEDS MORE LOW"

I believe the proper usage is "M04R 10W, Y0!"
Seriously though, back on topic.

Definitely needs more low kiddo. I think I'm one of the few 2011 wrx's with a roll bar. That's my contribution

No chase wrx is right. this is a custom mods page and you guys had to argue a whole page long over a small thing. Remember its a thread called custom mods, and it's their own vehicle. Let him/her mod at their own expense, as it is their money, not yours.

It's ok, just let someone else post a mod and then no more on this topic. I'm going to start reporting posts that aren't mods, I really enjoy this thread and would like to see it continue to flourish

Its good enough for stock gtr's on the racetrack. I'd prefer 6 but its a daily. I only installed it for using harnesses during autox.

Made a little blocker plate for my SRI to hopefully keep the IAT's down...

Depending on the results of this I may make a top for it

I think you missed the point. They require extra saftey equipment to race on a drag strip or road course. Check your rules books for clarification.

I got the top of the box finish and ran a "ambient air" hose from the bumper to the filter(isnt exactly custom but whatever)... Dont worry the hose is not touching the filter I did pull it away so it sits 1-2" from it

Will be doing some testing today on the way to work checking IAT's and no the top cover is not sealed to the side and neither are really sealed to the car but I have a feeling it will keep the majority of the heat out and didnt cost me anything

PICTURE TIME

I was going to do this on my car, what are the chances of it sucking up water while driving in hard rain and it spraying on the intake? thats my only concern

so this ap holder isn't unique but i tucked the wire into the dash and it looks nice
quality is crap, sorry night pics

here's the unique part I think. wired up the test mode connectors and the blue connector that comes with the access port to two seperate switches. instead of digging under my dash every single time I need to reflash my car I simply flip these two switches and BAM I'm in test mode and able to reflash
Did it in the carl's junior parking lot to test out a new map, works great but the switchs' housing needs to be cleaned up
It's the two ones on their sides in the same slot, one for each connector to flash

Pretty much 0...

It doesn't suck air at all, it is really only effective while driving. The fresh air is delivered through the hose directly to the intake and believe me it does work! But this hose isn't super smooth so water won't travel through it and it is has such an uphill climb
