Default Average Age of Owner

OK, since it was raised in another thread, what about a poll of rough age of Baja owners that frequent this site.

1. 16-30
2. 31-50
3. 51-60
4. 61-I should not be driving any more!

I bought the car on my birthday last year, the first 'big' thing I've bought after finishing college and working for a while. I'm now 23.

A baby, it would seem. No such thing as being too old, Paul Newman(RIP) raced cars up until just a few months ago, he won the last race he entered.

I'm 50 now, Bought my Baja new in Feb of 05, and it is sort of a mid-life toy for me....I guess that makes me young at heart

29 soon to be 30.

i got tired of the $1500 modified import racket once my son was coming, so i bought a more reliable, comfortable, and weekend home improvement warrior friendly car. as the saying goes "i may grow old, but i'll never grow up." thats why i got the baja fun but practical.

54 here. Traded my dangerously slow-mo Hyundai for the 5 sp. Turbo. I just had to have it.

58 here. As Jimmy Buffett says, I'm growing older but not up, I'd rather die while i'm living than live when i'm dead!

High-Five to you! Excellent color choice. It was fun to gloat to my father that my 'fake truck' was faster than his 65 'vette. I was a cocky bastard until He bought his 92 'vette a month ago.

Wasn't so much a choice as the dealer where I was looking at a brand new blue turbo (the last one they had period) wouldn't do financing for me without a cosigner and I couldn't talk mom into that one. Worked out nicely though since I get to run regular gas instead of premium.

Default Not As Old As I Would Have Guessed......

At 44 votes, the average age group is running younger than I would have guessed.

39 here. I bought mine in December of 03. I needed a vehicle that could still haul my family if something happened to my wife's car. AWD and the safety reputation were high on the list too.
