I think that I am just going to throw it out there that everyone who contributes to that thread are idiots. I thought most people learned how to be friends in like 3rd grade. The late people at least has it figured out by high school...

McDonald's window kid said my car was "HAWWWT"
-thanks
His next two questions were, "is it customized?" and "is it dual exhaust?" Felt his followup questions were quite random.

So in one of my classes there is this kid who used to own a Chevy Colbalt with a "TT Set up and BOV" but now owns a V6 Mustang (I think it's an 05 but don't remember honestly). Before I start let me talk about his Cobalt. He is a friend of one of my friends so when I see him pull up in his yellow Colbalt I go over with my friend to greet him and be friendly since he had complimented my NISMO Z before. When I get over there, he pulls of his sunglasses and starts telling me how he just got it at some used car lot downtown and how he got lucky cause of all of the mods it has. I walk around and observe that it appears to be a bone stock Cobalt, not even an SS. He says that it has a "gnarly blowing valve". I told him to rev it for me so he does and i hear absolutely nothing. I ask him to pop his hood and he tells me that he only pops his hood at the track. After persuading him, he does and I see a bone stock Cobalt with all of the plastic covering still intact. He claims that all of the good stuff is under the plastic and that never gets removed unless he's at a track. I say whatever and offer to race him at our drag strip and he says that he doesn't want to waste gas or have me pay for him because he'll feel bad. I walk away laughing but don't mind cause hey, it's not my car right? A week goes by and I notice he isn't driving to school anymore. He tells me that his car had issues so they returned it to the dealer (had a hole in the gas tank) and that he's looking for a Mustang. Eventually he picks up his baby blue Mustang with Black racing stripes and tells me how he has a full exhaust and can smoke me in my STi which I had just gotten. I tell him that after break in i'd be glad to take him to the strip to run it with him and try to explain to him that I have a huge advantage. After telling him about the car's AWD and turbo he says that he is going to need to get some new headers to beat me even worse. He pretty much thinks that he has the fastest car around and can beat anything. We'll just wait until I go stage 2 and then i'll drag him out to our drag strip (his kind of racing) and show him how we do it BTW i've heard/seen him attempt to drive stick after months of practice and..... that clutch won't be lasting much longer :P

My NA is getting a lot of attention lately.

Kid leaned against his door sill in his explorer and gave me a fist pump/thumbs up as I drove past him in my neighborhood

Buddy's mom asked if I had dropped him off.
Him: yeah that was him.
Mom: yeah I heard him
His Brother: I heard you two five minutes before you pulled in...
Whoops.

Earlier I set off a car alarm and he called me the "Bellefont (his neighborhood) Terror"
My car is not loud at all...

Agreed. I'm sad now. I love my WRX, but even I know that it's not the hottest **** on the road and I feel no need to argue with people if they think their car is faster...
