Default Possible Chargespeed Vortex Generator / Roof Fin GB

Hey Folks,

Adam from Z1 has mentioned that he is willing to work up some GB pricing for us on the new Chargespeed CF Vortex Generator. He already has a shipment inbound, so here's a chance to get a good deal if you're interested.

He's asked me start getting a list together, so final pricing will be determined by how many people we can get to commit. I'll add more detail to this thread as I can, but for now I'd just like to get some names to see what the intereste level is.

Thanks,
Mike

I'll see if Adam has an idea of what the standard pricing is going to be and then we can work down from there.

FWIW, the Yen pricing on the Chargespeed site is 38,000. That's $344 at today's rate.

I would really like to see more pics of this. More of a full shot from the back, both straight back and from a bit of an angle. Of course on a silver STi if possible

I wonder how much the ABS version on eBay weighs compared to the wet CF one...

, Unfortunately I don't think these are anywhere in the States right now. All I have are the images I've stolen from the Chargspeed site.

Here's another borrowed pic from the UK. This is not the same piece, but it gives you an idea of how a similar piece looks from a farther distance.

How does it attach to the roof? I also wonder if I could pack an XM antennae into one of the fins, would be a nice alternative to the scratchy magnetic antennae XM provides.

This it total speculation on my part, but I'd be very surprised if it weren't a double sided tape affair. Some good 3M tape would be more than enough secure it indefinitely.

Hiding an XM antennae in there is a great idea!

Z1 Performance is a NASIOC vendor. Adam asked me if I could do the legwork on this for him. I'm sure it will be moved to the Vendor forum once things start to come together with pricing. Right now I'm just trying to get a feel for the level of interest so he can give us feedback on what the pricing tiers will look like.
