wow - 3 minutes?! damn! I can't even take the dash screws off in that amount of time!!

and to dremel out a button in that amount of time - jeeze!!!

(I hope you don't perform tasks so quickly on every facet in life!!)
heheheh j/k

but seriously, a little more info would be nice since the only place you can find it is from vivid.com and they don't have a lot of info as far as the install procedure, pics of the install process, etc...

I mean - c'mon - your pic is from the vivid page - don't you have one installed on your car - would love to see it!

I always thought the push button was pretty kewl myself.

thx in advance!

So, rather than inserting then turning your key to start your engine you insert and turn your key then press a button to start your engine?

Yes it works on the new WRX. From what I read it's pretty cool. I posted on this a while back and some guy e-mailed me to offer me one...I think he's selling for 85 bucks or something. If you're interested e-mail me and I'll find his contact info for you.

I have it. Everybody likes it. You turn your key on and then push the button to crank the engine, to turn the car off you turn the key off.

All you do to install it is pop out a blank plug next to the cruise control button and pop it in. Then disconnect the 2 blue connectors under the steering coloum and plug it between them. And thats it.

Hey guys. Will this fit in the slot where the hazzard lights button is? Assuming that the hazzards can be moved to the blank slot near the cruise control. Seems better to use the same hand to turn the key then start, instead of doing a right-left combo. Thanks.

Booster,

Are you saying the piece is the complete size of one of the normal empty (blank) plugs there? That would be neat, it sounds like that's what you're saying, I just wanted to know from your experience, before I take the plunge.

This button will plug right into any of the blank places on the dash
where there is just a cover currently. Or, you can be creative with a Dremel and cut a hole somewhere. 1 switch left for sell.

GoodFinder, its made to be the same size as the fog light button, so all you do is pop out the empty black one.

Booster - Thanks for the information.

GPH993 - If you still have that one left, I am interested. I'll send you an email and we can go "off line" to discuss.

its seems like an expensive option for just a button when you can just crank it the rest of the way...but thats just me!
