I would go for the avo kit. Imo its better engineered and comes with proper engine management. well worth the extra money. The tsi kit doesn’t come with any real engine management besides piggybacks. I have never heard of anyone with a tsi kit.

I ordered a TSI kit....it sucks, I spent a few months making it fit the car. It was the worst thing ever, basically made me realize I should have just started with a completly custom kit or got a better known kit...like AVO for example. TSI kits are so cheap because they put NO time in making sure they will fit correctly, came with instrutions for a honda, and basically no engine management. If you look at how many different applications there are for the TSI kit, think which one is going to have more time put into the design; a company like AVO who basically one sells turbo kits for a subaru or TSI who makes them for hondas, nissans, volkswagens, subarus....etc
Just stay away from it -- I was stupid for getting that kit |

no problem, I try my best to keep people clear of this kit. Thats not saying the quality hasn't been improved, but my experience was terrible and I can't see them getting any better

Had the AVO kit for a week and the car got in an accident. Its in perfect condition.
I ran against a WRX - smoked it. Ran against a WRX w/ up,dp,ex - smoked it. Ran against a stock STi - was 1 car length behind. Not too shabby kit.. |
