I feel really bad saying I don't believe this but you have a bad track record for these kinds of things. On the other hand, if it is true (and I hope it's not) Good luck with everything.

Ben and I are besties, we were just shooting the **** about his next big plans. He is actually going with a twinscroll set up feeding a fog light mounted turbo. Similar to this:

Or this.. we couldn't decide.

I'm still waiting for his write up on his 6 speed swap.
So he used WRX axels from what he told me before.
what i want to know is what rear end is he using and why? The R180 is only a 12 lbs difference from a typical VLSD r160 and even if you go aftermarket like a cusco diff the r160 is still not worth it just to save a smidgen more weight.

Makes sense. Take a look at the for sale list, no front mount listed. Must have some plans...

This guy makes a good point. With that said, I'd be pretty shocked to not see him upgrade his core, as the GMS thing had been disappointing him in its finish.

Perhaps the racecar factor is playing a large role in functionality over fashion?

Yes, I did install the baby seat. I like it, but it's pretty big and kind of hard to get in and out of when rear facing. This is mainly due to the large sides (which I wanted for safety).

Yeah, that kind of got put on the back burner. I used the VLSD R160. The only reason was to save cost (use my stock axles).

Ok yeah it was all a lie (except how we are besties). So I won't tell everyone that you are selling everything to go with a supercharger.

Yeah. Still planning on keeping the wheels. It will be a while before it's warm enough though.

Were you pretty happy with the rce blacks? Thinking I'm going to go with them on my sedan when it comes in, look pretty good on oem wheels on your car.

I love the Blacks and Konis. Much better than the coilovers. I didn't run them in stock struts long enough to say much about that.
