Most of a night. It was actually a rollicking good time. Once you're booked you can say whatever you want to the police and it doesn't go into your file. "Sniff sniff...is that bacon I smell, I SMELL BACON, BACCCCCCOOOOONNNNNN !!!!" They ended up yelling **** back to me over the intercom and this went on for about an hour or so, I think they got as much enjoyment out of it as I did...

In my younger days we had a house party that got a bit out of control, I was only 20 at this point, the police apparently felt there were more shenanigans going on other than under age drinking as they sent in under cover cops, and then stormed the house and had helicopters and all, from what I recall 100+ tickets were given out, and myself and a friend that also lived there were arrested. He got lippy with the cops and was thrown down and cuffed, I refused to take a breathalizer, and the officer declared I was being arrested for "interfering with an arresting officer" and "being drunk in public" which I argued was false as they arrested my while I was sitting inside on the stairs. We were taken to the drunk tank, and 8 or so hours later I was released ROR, charges were never filed though. This just added to me not liking cops in general.

Surprisingly, no. Many of my friends have, and I have bailed many of them out, but I have always skirted it somehow.

That was in my youth; I have since completely lost my ability to engage in illegal fun and idiocy.

Spent a few hours in jail one night.

Best part (only good part) of it was seeing a drunk/cracked out/meth-head lady manage to get out of her cell, carrying her cot mattress, running down the halls screaming. A few seconds after, about 3 officers went running by. About 30 seconds later, she came running back past my cell/room, again with them chasing her. This was the perfect scenario for the Benny Hill theme song to be playing in the background.

12 years ago I learned the lesson of thinking i was fine to drive home after a few drinks.

bonus: I also learned the lesson that you are not allowed to call a cell phone from jail for your one call because it is always a collect call.

double bonus: if you get popped the night before thanksgiving, it may be monday before you get out and nobody knows where the **** you are.

c/n: call a cab

Current ex, and no, that was a pretty amicable split.

In my youth I was first a degenerate punk rocker, so spent time in Juvie for several incidents related to that, then a string of traffic stuff that I just couldn't afford to pay the fines for.

At one point I had seen the same judge so many times for the same offense that he sentenced to thirty days at the Honor Farm.

I was there for a night back in 2010. Came back from deployment and thought i was invincible. there was a red light and my buddy was next to me. decided to give it a go and street race. only made it to 45 mph before popo came over and busted us. the jail part wasnt bad. the bad part was not being able to drive on any federal installation for 6 months and the $1500 lawyer fees/ticket.

Handcuffed in the back of the squad car when I was 17 was the farthest I ever got.

Missed a court date for a speeding ticket....while I was gone at basic training.

Home and at a house party, neighbor called in a noise complaint. When the cops showed up there were 6 of us left, having a quiet conversation on the back porch. They decided to run all of us through the system, since they had been called out. Lo and behold, I have a warrant for failure to appear, and get carted off and booked.

Got to wake up my dad and have him come bail me out at 3 am on a Sunday morning so that I can go to work, great fun was had by all. Luckily my dad a pile of cash in his toolbox that I had given him, since the ATM wouldn't dispense enough for my bail in one day.

Where was this, Spurberry, VT?

Also, it's a good thing we're in OT, and not general.

Just a night and part of the next day. I was detained many times in my teenager years w/o being arrested too.
