Default Race day?

In talking to a few other people, $500 gets you the track for a full day.

We should put something together before this guy gets shut down!

http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&n...iew&ad=4170860

I am waiting to see Biggie's opinion of this private track, but I fear:

-No vehicle support or emergency crews
-No EMT
-Huge Liability overall

Somehow I see this ending in a fireball shooting down the track with no one to put it out or aid the person with 3rd and 4th degree burns.

haha I know a EMT that if he wasn't working we could maybe pitch in a little for him or even just let him run around the track a couple times in someones car or something haha I'd be down haha

I think it is a military facility? I emailed them and have been waiting to hear back on specifics.

lol that looks dodgy. At least if they did an autox event or something like that it would be sanctioned and insured by the SCCA.

We are considering putting on an event there. I would definitely pay 50 bucks to run there all day.

i'm down let's do it soon. i'll bring some tasty costco pineapple bratwurst

who all has helmets to bring to rent? and fire extinguishers. we can just have a "if we have to use it on you, you buy it" policy

also bring your guns, they have rifle ranges, nothing like a day of bbq, shooting, and cheap racing.

I have an appointment with this facility on Saturday. I also have an event insurance provider and their requirements. So, I should be able to to figure out how much an actual event will cost and what will be needed after my tour.

It looks like it needs some barriers for corner exit so you don't go careening off into the paddock. Otherwise it looks like a cool spot to work on setups and such.

I think it's a get what you pay for deal. So barriers are more likely a luxury. Though his map is top notch.
