Can't say from experience... it might be a bit tight for gas.
Are you running step colder plugs or stock heat range? I've found that colder plugs don't work well with E85. The problem is you might need them for making higher power on 93... another reason why we just keep our cars on E85 all the time. Justin and I also went to higher compression (9:1) on our new builds so we are pretty well committed to Ethanol.

I went from stock to .020 ( recommended was .025 - .022 but I didn't have that on my gapping tool, it was a cheapo from the parts store.)
we really need a good set of aftermarket Coils, the Okada ones leave a lot to be desired, I had a set once and wasnt impressed. I am working with a huge ignition parts manufacturer to get us some stay tuned! |

What do you think, should I go with stock heat range and a .022-.024? I know you're not burning 93 pump gas but I'm wondering if the stock heat plugs and smaller gap would work with 93.
I'd welcome anyone's comments here on the spark blowout I'm seeing w/ e85 at 28-29 psi. |

Ive also read that going to a copper plug can help too, they have a larger spark but they also wear very fast so you'd be changing plugs regularly. |

Stock heat range. Coppers. Gap down. Replace frequently.

I run one step colder NGK iridiums gapped down to 0.6mm, pulls like a champ up to 32psi on E85. (haven't tried more boost yet)
Did the whole copper plug thing for a while, but they only seemed to last around 7-10k km till they were ready for a change Might try some NGK Racing Iridiums next to see if the tiny ground strap would help with pre-ignition, but they cost a ****load. |

Yo Dude.......Wassup? Have you been enjoying cruising in the Foz? It's my work season out this way so not much action other than me hitting a cruise night on Tuesday nights. The front of your car looks great with those projector headlights. I attached a vid of the back of my new wagon. I cannot wait for Drag Week in September. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNbf...ature=youtu.be

I'm sad to say the XTI is gone. I've been procrastinating this post for quite a while. It was totaled and we're parting it out. Layvon is handling the part out for me.
Please don't ask for details or any photos! It's a big setback for me in the Subaru world and I'm done for now. I built this car over a 5 year period, a steady but somewhat slow progression. I had it pretty much done besides a few minor tweaks and I was actually talking about selling it as I had some unsolicited interest in whether I would consider selling it. I think I set some new standards especially for Foresters and I truly loved driving it, **** it had 143K on the chassis but there was no way you could tell that other than the odometer. I'm sorry to deliver this post but it's only a car and no one was hurt! That's the most important thing! I appreciate all the support from this community, so thank you for that!!
