My same thinking . Just add in 29, and mtn bikes and surfs weekly (I'm sure there are racks that fit this car). Small back seats? Tell your friends to sit sideways. I'm stuck between this and the XV. My practical side is arguing with my impractical fun side. |

The mustang def. loses again in the weight department but that was something I was willing to deal with as it wasn't too much heavier than my STi was. Go drive a new GT and take her on a twisty road. I think you'll be pretty surprised at how well she handles for how much of a fat ass she has lol. |

MCS vs GM6 Impreza vs GD Impreza:
Headroom Front: 38.8" - 38.0" - 38.6" Headroom Rear: 37.6" - 36.7" - 36.7" Legroom Front: 41.4" - 43.1" - 42.9" Legroom Rear: 29.9" - 32.5" - 33.0" Shoulder room Front: 50.3" - 53.0" - 52.7" Shoulder room Rear: 44.7" - 52.4" - 52.9" The extra .8" of headroom really comes in handy when you're wearing a helmet. That's the most important dimension for me, so the MINI feels roomier to me than my 2.5RS ever did. |

Don't forget those "long body, short legs" (or the opposite) folks who look at the same cars, but come up with totally different conclusions.

Probably I won't be able to swing a BR-Z, even though I admit to being tempted. After selling my STI and getting the 2.5RS as an interim car, I'm really appreciating what 500 pounds less weight feels like. Even on a car with original 13-year old 125K struts . The BR-Z sounds like a blast. I'd have to trade cars with the wife every time I needed to take the kids, though. |

People are so hung up on the price of this thing when no one has actually driven one. What's even better, is people that work in the industry and have driven the most impressive cars in the world are saying it's one of the most impressive cars they've driven and a bunch of people online are saying, "It's not worth it". Really?
I had the chance to sit in one the other day and I will say it was one of the most impressive cars I've sat it. It reminded me of a Porsche 911. It feels like the thing is just was fitted around me. It really was impressive. This FR-S/BRZ argument against cars like the Mustang V6 and Genesis Coupe is funny as well. HP alone does not tell you how fast a car is. I have a Mustang GT, Genesis Coupe, and an STI at the dealership I work at. The STI is the quickest of the three and has significantly less power than the Mustang. Gearing plays a big part. Also take into consideration that it's much easier to add HP than shave weight. Try knocking lbs off the GC or even adding HP. They are not easy to tune and very few people do it on them. I was thinking about buying one and it just didn't seem tuner friendly. So look at the numbers. I would still take the BRZ, and I really love the STI. Mustang V6 - 3447lbs, 305 HP, 11.30 HP/Weight Ratio Genesis Coupe 2.0T - 3362-3492lbs, 274 HP, 12.27 HP/Weight Ratio Genesis Coupe V6 - 3433-3563lbs, 348 HP, 9.86 HP/Weight Ratio Subaru WRX - 3225lbs, 265 HP, 12.16 HP/Weight Ratio Subaru STI - 3250lbs, 305 HP, 10.65 HP/Weight Ratio Scion FR-S/Subaru BRZ - 2606-2762, 200 HP, 13.03 HP/Weight Ratio |

I don't get the car? I'm an autocrosser who ditched his STI because it was too heavy, front-biased and laggy. I've done track days. My first car was a 2500lb 100hp RWD BMW. I used to own and autocross a miata. I get exactly what this car is, I just don't get the price. |

http://www.autoblog.com/2012/03/23/2...-mile-in-15-3/[/quote that was the auto tranny, they are claiming the gear forces an earl shift. Those are highly pathetic numbers! I'll wait for the Turbo version, should come with balls standard. |
