Mishimoto aluminum radiator
Well after waiting for 3 weeks on a back order my radiator finaly came. It was packaged very well. Came with mounting hardware for the fans. The radiator looks pretty good, welds are OK. There may be a couple spots I saw that could have been better but as long as it doesn't leak it should be fine. Fitament was very good, its not uneven or shifted to one side. The only modification you will have to do is trim both radiator hoses back a little because of the thickness of the radiator. But for $220 shipped I think it was a pretty good buy. It definitly adds some bling to my engine bay. I also added at the time Crucial's 160 degree thermostat and Samco hoses. I'll try and get a pic this week of it installed.

They just had a container come in when I got mine so there should be some in stock now. I'm at work cleaning my car and will take some pics when I'm finished. Didn't get a chance to get them with the radiator out. My temp gauge is a little cooler.

No I didn't mean that the hardline comes with it, just the bolts that will allow you to use your factory one. And there are some(radiator) on ebay that are cheaper that doesn't come with that 14" fan. Do you or anyone think the single larger fan would work better than the 2 smaller stockers?

Mine came in yesterday.
First impressions: It's decently packed, wrapped in bubble wrap surrounded 100% by Styrofoam and placed in a heavy cardboard box. You get the radiator, radiator cap w/ chain, hardware to mount the oem fans and a sticker. For the price it's exactly what I expected. Welds are not as clean as those you'd find on a koyo or pwr. It did have a few bent fins which are easily fixed. The radiator is sealed from the factory, included drain. Mishimoto sprayed on the engine bay side of the radiator for some reason. All in all I don't think you can beat it for the price. The only thing I'm a little iffy on is the radiator cap. I'll get some pics when I install everything. And a big thank you to MAPeformance for the great price and quick shipping. |
