SSR going Bankrupt
according to gary@tirerack:
"SSR did file for protection from their creditors last Thursday. The company is currently closed for additional business. There will be a period of company restructuring, we expect to learn the details of these actions within the next month or so. Have no further info/speculation. Also I've been told that customers can be assured that The Tire Rack will honor all product warranty claims" |

It won't be the same price for ROTAs for a while. I was able to find a set of professors last week, price still the same. And since it's going bankrupt, it might not close completey, maybe something like K-Mart. Just might consolidate factories or stop SSR America operations. If they do end up dropping at price, it would probably be sizes like 15x7 or something like that. But you never know.... [i hope they do drop, i want another set for winter!] |

However, the side skirts are different as well as the front lip (in addition to the wheels). Neil. |
