Damn, I wish you had a few more miles on her and it was'nt so nice. Sounds funny but I am down in Beloit and have been looking for a car like yours to use for a Street/Track car for Roadracing for awhile and yours is too expensive and nice. I am as picky as they come and currently am using a '98 M3 Sedan and am afraid I am going to trash it one of these times at the Track. I am also considering a WRX. Good luck selling. Paul

Yeah, it's too nice for track use. At least for wheel to wheel racing. I did see a 93 RX-7 for sale in CA that was fully prepped for road racing. He wanted $15,500 for it I think. I could get you his web address if that isn't too much.

Bump for the hottest car ever! Nice to see them modded tastefully instead of being garage queens or at the drag strip...

(I was shopping for one in December, but bought the Scooby instead)

Ya that would be great, I am a little afraid of the 1993s, they seemed to be more dependable in 1994. Thanks

Thanks for the bump ButtDyno.

BlackM3, I'll have to get that address after work today for you. 93's did have more issues, but this guy has replaced so much stuff with aftermarket parts, I am not sure it is an issue any more.

Well, I definitely need to sell this car now. I bought a new Evo. Here is some information on it. Price: $18,500. Mequon, WI (near Milwaukee). Serious inquiries only. The website above no longer works. I can email pictures if you would like.

I am selling a 1994 Mazda RX-7 with 40,500 miles on it. It is in excellent mechanical and aesthetic shape. It is the Popular Equipment Group model (PEG) meaning it has leather, cruise control and sliding sunroof. 5spd manual, LSD, twin turbo, etc… I assume anyone serious enough about purchasing this car will know the basics of the 3rd Gen RX-7. If not, go here: http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/

It has never been in an accident, has been garaged its entire life, and has never seen a salt grain or snow flake. The title is completely clean. The engine is original and is still very strong (it pulls 17 to 18 in Hg at idle). The turbos are capable of making much more boost than I currently have them set at for reliability reasons. I have been meticulous with the maintenance, and if it means anything, I am a degreed mechanical engineer. I have done some minor modifications to the car to increase its reliability and performance. These are listed below:

Modifications/Repairs
(maintenance log available upon sale)

K&N Drop-in filter in stock air box

Bridgestone S03 tires with around 2000 miles on them

Cold air modification done to stock air box

Homemade Cat back exhaust with mandrel bent tubing (very free flowing and low pitch.)

Greddy Profec-B boost controller (to help with boost spiking from free flowing exhaust and intake)

ACT Street Strip Clutch and HD pressure plate with only 1000 miles

SR Motorsports 9.5# flywheel

Rotorsports racing urethane motor mounts

Autometer Carbon Boost Guage (looks like stock dials, mounted in A-Pillar)

New fuel filter at 37,000 miles

Redline 75W90 rear differential oil at 39,000 miles

Redline MTL transmission fluid changed at 39,000 miles

Speedbleeder brake bleeders

ATE Type 200 brake fluid at 39,000 miles

Oil changed religiously with Castrol GTX 10W30 every 500 miles or less.

Flushed radiator at 39,000 miles.

The only minor damage to the paint (besides the occasional tiny rock chip) is a tiny missing patch of clear coat on both doors that is hardly noticeable.

Serious inquiries only please.

I might be interested in your car but I am kind of holding out for an R2 Package car and definately not going to spend near what you are asking. Send me some Pictures and more information and maybe we can discuss further. Thanks, Paul

Black Belt M3, I am firm in my pricing. If it isn't in your ballpark, then you shouldn't pursue my car.

Thanks anyways

Sorry man, you were asking if anyone had any interest. I do have interest but not at that price. I think you might be sitting on this one for awhile but good luck anyway. Bump for a nice car. Later

I know it is hard to go by a "Book Price" on your car but just so you know your car is valued at $10,000 and that is what the loan value is as well. I am looking at cars up to about the $20,000 range as I just sold my M3, so your car is in my "Ballpark". I just don't think your car is worth what you are asking.

Still for sale. I have had a couple interested parties, but still entertaining best offers. By the way, Black Belt M3, many have felt my price is fair.

I just had the compression tested at Concours Mazda and the results were pleasing. Also, I ran the coolant O-Ring leak tests and had no coolant leaks into the engine. By the way, the car is still for sale.

Here are the results:

Rotor 1: Chamber 1 98.89psi, Chamber 2 95.265psi, Chamber 3 94.83psi
Max differential (4.016psi)

Rotor 2: Chamber 1 99.615psi, Chamber 2 102.805psi, Chamber 3 106.43psi
Max differential (6.772)

Mazda says a strong engine is one at 100psi with a max differential of 21psi between chambers. I heard from numerous RX7Forum members that the pressure differential is almost more important than the absolute numbers. My engine passes that test with flying colors.
