Post Liberty Subaru - Come Help break the World Record - 'Largest Parade of Subaru Cars'

WHAT:
Liberty Subaru is calling on all Subaru enthusiasts to join in the next attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the 'Largest Parade of Subaru Cars' while raising money for cancer research in honor of Colin Johnston, a die-hard Subaru enthusiast, active NASIOC member, friend, and employee who battled a rare form of skin cancer before he passed away. Who is Colin Johnston?

The past record is less than 400 cars so it is not insurmountable. ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to charity! What this means is that Liberty Subaru is hosting the event and paying for it, and Eventbrite is writing the check for ALL PROCEEDS directly to the charity.

WHEN & WHERE:
This is taking place on June 15th, 8:30 AM at MetLife Stadium:
Visit LibertySubaruWorldRecord.com for more info!

BELOW ARE SIMPLE THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP THE CHARITABLE EFFORT:
  1. Come to the event. If you cannot come, you can help by spreading the word!

  2. Joining our event and clicking SHARE on the Facebook event page to share the event with your friends/family:
    Our Facebook Event

  3. SHARE the linked digital flyer with your friends on social media:
    Instagram Photo

  4. SHARE the website via email or social media:
    LibertySubaruWorldRecord.com

The help of enthusiasts will be indispensable to pulling off an event of this size and scope. If you would like to VOLUNTEER or you have questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch: click here.

Your gonna have your work cut out to beat us in the United Kingdom.

This is what we achieved a few years back, was a event to be part of.

I don't even want to know how long it took for almost 1100 cars to spell his name. Those drivers were really patient.

Nice job though

This is a great cause, no doubt about that. Although I'm curious too, how's this going to work with the UK event.

Guiness "World Records" only count if you pay Guiness the absurd amount of money they want to come out to certify it.

I remember working on Subarus with Colin in his yard, my garage, friend's garages, etc. He was the epitome of a Subaru enthusiast, and was always willing to lend a hand. In that spirit and with his memory in mind, I will definitely be there!
