Yeah I'm still uncertain on if I need them but I will find out. Used rear hubs/knuckles will cost me the same as new backing plates. Either way I'm getting them one way or another. Lol

What caps do you have? I just used the knockout caps from Home Depot.

Shot me a PM with a picture of what they look like and dimensions, and I'll see what I can whip up.

Also, Pictures finished uploading. Here are some highlights.

Something something tucking tire and not rubbing something.

And then calamity...

Yes, the driver's side fog light came out. It's not in good shape. But it still works!

Also, if the front wheels look a little darker than the rears, it's because they are. All four wheels were the same shade of silver at the beginning of the day. Hawk HP+ FTW?

Nice. Love those wheels. What settings were your Koni's in that? Still on stock springs? A lot of play but they level fast.

Took my car on a 200 mile round trip this weekend, longest with my koni/rce blacks.. Ate up the road with ease.

Thank you.

Still stock springs. I'll probably maintain this set-up until the end of the year. The tires still have a lot of meat on them.

Here's a comparison video of the good runs.

They should sell it like the "look a like" front lip. Many people would be happy.

Looks mean. Is it me or does the light output suffer?

honestly its a little scary the first time you crack your lights open but its a reasonable weekend project for any handy person. second time is cake.
i guess its worth mentioning that i didnt tint the lens just blacked out the interior of the housing so no light output from the low beam is compromised.
the high beams do suffer but i never use them and i did the fogs as drl mod so i went with the super clean all back look.
the turn signals are switchback leds and even though i blacked out the housing its still way brighter then stock bulbs.

definitely digging the clean look. what do you guys think about matching the lip to body color?

Yea i've been contemplating whether to paint my headlights or not since I don't want to completely **** them up.

I definitely love how it looks though, much more aggressive.

This is my take on painting the lip. Why pay for paint for an object thats going to get scratched and meant to protect your car. I'll admit it looks good, but just doesn't make sense to me because my lip gets a beating.

i hear you on that. painting the lip does seem a little silly since it will get banged up although surprisingly mine doesnt bottom out all that much. if i were to paint it id just get a spray can of touch up do it myself, no need to go to a body shop. for $25 might be into it. the only thing that nags me about the lip is that the black blends in with the ground at times. figure body color might tie it into the bumper a little better.

Lucky you. haha my city has lots of steep entrances, and I have to approach at like a 60 degree angle to not be able to scratch the lip... BUT they are very narrow and allow for barely enough space for 2 cars. :/

I hear ya on that. Gloss black would look sick though.. I know i will sound like an idiot, but i've also been contemplating painting my lip because of that. and due to the fact that the flat black just looks like a cheap product. :/
