HKS Turbo Timer Problems
Someone help me please.... my Turbo Timer isn't staying on when I turn my car off. The car turns off so does the turbo timer. What should I do? What things should I check for to see if I did it right? Someone help me please....

Re: HKS Turbo Timer Problems
whoever installed it, needs to verify the 12 volt source for the Turbo Timer, it has to be a fused constant 12 volt source such as the battery or the constant 12 volt off the wrx's ignition harness.
probably the installer installed the power source off the Accessory/Ignition wire. Once you turn off the vehicle, there's no power running through those 2 wires. netZ Quote:

Ditto - if it comes on and acts normally when the car is turned on:
1. MAKE SURE YOU ARE SET TO TIME!! (Make sure you're not on auto timer, and it's setting to 0 seconds or something) Set it to like 5 minutes or something just for kicks 2. Same with me, squier15, I had a bad connection to my e-brake handle. As soon as I rechecked the splice, and connected it all up, I was good to go. |

the HKS ones, almost always the ebrake wire. look under the center console for a pink wire if you have a 2002, i forgot what color for the 2003. open your arm rest, grab where the cup holder is and just pull up hard and it will clip off. it might be under the carpeting but you should be able to see the wire coming from the turbo timer going near the ebrake, just keep on following it and check the connection. i threw away my vampire clip and soldered that down. i've also done the same for a bunch of my friends who ran into the same problem.
