South Wins!!!

I won the SM class, beating Pablo by one billionth of a second.

(I don't know if my score was included in the N/S tally, as this was only my third AX of the year. )

And then...they said, OK, we understand what you're saying, go home & wait until we send you another letter.

So, now the Union is involved fully. They told them, "Want him to retire? Make him a clerk so he can take advantage of the ERP."

^ forgive me for not understanding post office politics... I assume being a clerk is a bad thing?

ERP = enterprise resource planning?

Hello, I live in the Louisiana and have a PSM trunk with STi wing off of my 2005 STi. I will be driving to visit my GF in Daytona Beach this week and just wanted to see if anyone in the Jacksonville area is interested in my trunk with STi wing. It is in great condition. I've replaced it with a wingless trunk and have no need for the STi winged trunk. I could meet some time b/w Thursday morning and Monday morning in Jacksonville or somewhere between Jacksonville and Daytona Beach. If anyone is interested in buying the winged trunk, please let me know via PM here on Nasioc. I'm looking to get $400.

Sorry Joe, Early Retirement Program. 5 years added to your retirement time + $15K in 2 payments. NOT being offered to Letter Carriers.

Yeah, it will.
They would never allow me to change crafts, clerks, (starting with the highest paid) are being given the option to change to the Letter Carrier Craft, or take the ERP.
Mailman slots will only go up. The average route is around 500 stops, so for every 500 new houses, you need a new mailman. Once they get the clerks, mailhandlers, maintenance people, and supervisors sorted out, (they are closing facilities that process mail), then they will know how many excess letter carriers they have, then will make an ERP for us.
