Could you post up pictures of it?

I read your review and I ordered one. It showed up cracked and doesn't look to be of great quality. I'll let you know how the customer service is...

I ordered one as well and just like the guy above me mentioned, it came cracked. There was pieces shaking around inside of it and both ends where cracked at the seam. Hopefully Advanation's customer service will be of help. Im glad I didn't install this pile of garbage. Its looks like hard plastic covered with CF vinyl then finished with a clear coat. So its clearly not real CF. If it broke that easily even before it reached me then who knows what would happen after its already on the car.

Heres a picture of the crack.

Just my .02 to throw in, I picked up an ebay roof vane from mbnational and it was good quality as well. Well packed, well made, good fit.

I've been looking into these as well, wasn't sure how good they would be compared to OEM. thanks for the feedback, I'll most likely try and source an OEM one..

this is a straight forward install, but it is time consuming, especially with these one piece vane spoilers. the oem ones have removable feet and are easier to line up the mounting hardware.

you need to remove the back of the headliner to install, that means dome light, and c pillars, and rear seat belts out at the minimum, to gain access to the hardware and drilling.

there are 3 layers of metal you will need to drill through, it is time consiuming, and they are at a weird angle, so take your time. the hardware will go up through the pillars from the inside of the car into the bottom of the spoiler. I used some silicone before cranking the hardware tight. not too tight, the pillars are soft and if you over tighten it will crease the metal.

after using the provided templates, I marked the holes and drilled.

drilled out bigger to accommodate the hardware from the inside.

installed. I painted the ends of mine for a more oem look...

now just reinstall your interior bits.

Update from this seller. Advanation returned the vane with no issue and excellent customer service. They refunded my money as soon as they received the vane. Its just a shame that this didnt work out for me. (Side note, I ended up picking up an OEM vane and will be going that route with the carbon fiber wrap on the center section instead)

Wish this worked on the hatch - I would put it on there in a heartbeat.

They did refund me the money also & had good customer service. The vane was defiantly not of good quality. Let me know how the OEM one works out. I would like to install one also.
Thanks
