Default The official End of the year thread. What went down this year?

So the year is about to end. I've been thinking lately about this past year and how crazy it was. This year by far was one of the most exciting, most painful, and at the same time best years of my life. So how was this year for you?

What did you accomplish?

What things were left undone?

Was it a good year for you or a bad one?

I was there... and people asked me if I saw it.

Yeah... I was that close where I could see it on the 3rd balcony 10th row back in one of the endzones.

Great year for me
I graduated form college, foudn a gret paying job, got engaged, got all kinds of new thinsg that I enjoy, started posting here more, and all in all had a lot of fun.
only downside was I GAINED a lot of weight after leaving college from inactivity, so i am working it off over next year.

Not really a great year for me.
I majorly changed my hair.
I went to the dentist and got my teeth all fixed up and got braces.

I helped someone close to me who had a really rough year and still is resolving some issues.

I got accepted and transfered to a 4 year school.
I bought a motorcycle.
I worked a whole bunch.
I learned a lot about rocks.
I realsied that i can't afford to go to school.
I worked a whole lot more.

Less noteworthy are blowing an engine, impulse buying a car, and wasting a lot of time on OT.

Got an iPod mini (x-mas) & other fun gifts

What things were left undone?

Um...I still have another year of school? :-(
And I slacked off on the workouts while doing all the wedding prep (no weight gain) - but I started up again this week.

meh..

wasn't a good year.

one super-failed relationship.. another I was just too broken to participate..
arrested twice..
spent most of it not working to the capacity I'd like to.. or my responsibilites require..

but things are already trending upward.. so **** this year..
I'm going to make next year a better one.
