Need help on swapped gf8, anyone near Savannah want to do some work for compensation?
I'd like to start out by introducing myself, My name is Stephen. I'm from Washington and drove my car, a 95 version 1 swapped wagon from there in September. About a month and a half ago the car was acting up on acceleration. Seemed similar to when my coil packs needed to be replaced. The car was sputtering and loosing power. It did that for I think three pulls and then started to run pretty bad. Seems like it's running on three cylinders. Had the car towed to Chatham Subaru they diagnosed it as bad spark plugs and a bad coilpack. They wanted to charge me $600. I bought the spark plugs did that myself and then just recently acquired two jdm coilpacks that I just swapped in today and the car still runs terribly.
So I was wondering if anyone could help me out. Will pay for work with beer, pizza money w/e. Just can't afford to be bent over by Subaru. Cliff notes: Car is running terribly, need someone to help me out and I will pay. (253)569-2886 Car for reference:

Thanks, yea I had the check done by subaru they determined that it wasn't anything to do with the lack of compression.

dealer or no, i'd recheck it. you could also do an injector leakdown test to see if you have a pentil issue. the v1 stuff is notorious for having piss poor injectors (ej20g's were often equipped with rx-7 secondaries, which are meant to be more of a peak and hold, check out the witchhunter site) i'd double check timing, longshot based on your descrption, but possible since the phase 1 tensioner is prone to blowing seals.
