I like to plan out my purchases haha.. Any and all help is appreciated Also.. What is the "Meth kit" You are talking about..? That is kind of confusing me a little..

a meth kit injects methanol into the air charge and cools it down. i don't recommend one because it is corrosive and will run out. the best thing is a safe tune and good intercooler. I had a meth kit on my Mustang and blew the motor at the track because it ran out, and i had a safe tune on the car. of course the blown engine meant i could build a really good one and go from 14 PSI to 24 PSI. |

Do you live in an area where E85 is available? Get some 850cc injectors and dial the boost up to about 12 psi and hang on...

I don't know why he's been so inactive in this thread, but unfortunately there is no E85 anywhere around here. I wish there was because I would be running it too.

Most asked to tell how on 253 engine to organize for the turbo feed and drain the oil. (and liquid cooling).
Perhaps there is a link, where it is described... |

Dug these up:
Water lines are done off the water line being fed into the throttle body. Oil gets drained directly into the oilpan, which is tapped and threaded for fitting. Oil is fed into turbo off an adapter fitting that goes into where the oil temp sensor is. |

Take as much as you can swap onto the same color 2009/10 wrx sedan and part out the rest. In the long run, you'll get more out of the car and be happy with the upgrades.
Been there, my first Subaru was an Outback Sport. I got a good deal, so sold it for an 02 WRX and now I have an 08 WRX. I would get STI but the payment, plus CA gas and any mods would make it unaffordable. Last edited by johnnyb; 06-20-2012 at 05:58 PM. |

Not even close to worth the time/trouble/cost of adding a pathetically small amount of power to a 2.5i.
Your car though, so as long as you're happy blowing money you could've put into a WRX and driving an unreliable car, that's all that matters! |

pshh, I would rather pay thousands of dollars less for a lower model car and give it decent power gains to compete with other higher-performance models. Lower insurance, probably better mileage, and less expensive parts. Not to mention AVO is a trusted brand who wouldnt sell their **** if it made your car unreliable. It's ignorant people like you who piss me and the rest of the enthusiast community off. Not to mention this is the "normally aspirated with bolt-on forced induction" board. Take your good for nothing advice elsewhere |

Just wanted to follow up on my somewhat rude, and condescending posts... I recently had my wisdom tooth removed and wasn't taking the pain killers they gave me, so I was a little... irritable when I made my previous posts. I want to say; I very much respect the dedication put into this build. I still stand by what I said, but the way I expressed my thoughts was immature - I apologize.
