Flares on the wagon look good. Putting a "flare" on a car that has already been designed as a "widebody" car such as the GD sedan just looks stupid. Ever see someone with a rear lip spoiler and a wing also attached to the rear of the car? Also the BMW is interesting the way the flares are designed, nice in the area of the rear doors opening and closing. Nice wagon.

Looks awesome man. OEM finish
I think you need to color match the front lip as well. And sorry people, I never had a chance to work on the flares again. I am too busy with work and rebuilding the sti and I also have a legacy that I am trying to bring back to life. The wagon will have to wait for flares. |

Thanks a lot guys. I thought about painting the lip as well but decided against it. Maybe in the future, I have enough paint left over. The lip was the cheapest one I could find on eBay. Meant for an sti I modded it to work.

The portion of the fender (metal) that rolls under into the wheel well.

OK, now I get it I need to drill them, they aren't already there? But as we like to say here "Sika regelt" (Sikaflex rules/ will do it). Sikaflex is a superglue.
I have a lip protection in the back (against rust etc) |

I drilled into the lower plastic part of the bumper(inside) as well as the inner metal lip.
