not bad. the bar brace thing in front would be the fsb or front strut brace. You should look into getting a downpipe and a tune(or an accessport if you can find one for cheap). a tune can make a night and day difference in how the car feels

I drove home last night and got out of my car and could smell what seems to be oil burning, looking at dip stick, does seem to burn oil, further inspection I think I got a passenger side valve cover leak, I'm thinking from all the heat from the turbo and all that fun stuff

-I'm doing that this weekend (valve cover gaskets)
Ive been looking at downpipes and other "hop ups" and just wonder on a brand or what not for downpipes. I was also checking out the accessports but they run around 350-400 on CL which I can really afford, (rather buys parts!) plus I need to learn ALOT before tuning my whip.

yeah i would recommend a tune first or at least a tune at the same time you do a downpipe so you don't have to retune. as far as brand name and what not. there are alot out there, Invidia and megan racing are good ones, but are usually $200+ but you can find used ones for under $200.

Yeah my buddy has a 89' supra and it has full Megan set up, that's what he said I should get too but also mentioned the price tag, I'm going to be a broke man for awhile! But my car with sound amazing and perform better, who needs money when you got WRX right?!!

I'm thinking about going to a dealership to get valve cover gasket/kit so I can have OEM, I went to team Mazda/Subaru on Nampa/caldwell BLVD and the guy there was extremely nice and filled me in on tips and hints on the new WRX, just wonder where you fellas prefer to get parts from, dealership a bad idea?

They are a bit spendy, I just did them, was just shy of $100 with my discount. Sign up on IDSC if you haven't and become an active part of the community. You will get special pricing through the local dealer if you are an active member.

we shall have tapatalk soon. and by active member that's at 100 posts, but it's worth it. 90% of the time i'm on this and the other forum on my phone without a special app though and it works just fine.
