I had an idea of how the top of the arches of the fender flares can be attached tot he vehicle. Take a caulking gun loaded with silicone glue and glue it from the inside of the fender flare. Would that work? Has anyone tried that?

that would work but not with a silicone, you would have to use body panel adhesive

BTW, am I the only..Wait...wtf? Why are you guys putting flares on top of flares? Seems a little redundant. Wagons have ZERO flares and it makes sense to me to put some flares on them.

Because small little bubble flares are a lot less expensive than wide body kits...
