Question Question for meet on the 27th, should I set up a 10x10 EzUp tent?

OK, I wanted to post this as its own message to make sure people see it. Thanks to my Mom I have a brand spanking new 10x10 foot EzUp tent for AutoX and RallyX. Should I set it up in the parking lot so we have shelter if it rains/snows (thinking back to the Nashua Chilis meet)? I'll also have EzUp tables and chairs...

If you don't mind 50 or so crowded underneath your tent?

Yeah, why not!

this lot isn't really ours though ... does the lot owner even know we are showing up there? a tent suddenly sprouting up in the middle of the place may well be the last straw...

I say bring it just in case...you never know. We can just determine form there if we feel it is safe to put it up or not.

We're better off having it there and deciding not to put it up, than saying you wish you brought it.

Who knows, it may be sunny and warm out....

Umm...if you do decide this, bring something that can weigh each corner down. Like a spare tire or two for each corner.

Trust me. They have them at Devens and the slightest gust of wind will try and pick it up.

I can see a tent for the summer. But we'll be all cold, and want to go inside anyway. I'd skip it, unless we're in the forcast for rain.

Keep in mind we do these rain or shine.
Thanks,
Kris

Yeah, I asked because I didn't know the status of the lot (who owns it, etc.). I scouted it at lunch today and there are plenty of snowbanks two of the four legs in. A spare tire weighing down the other two legs would do nicely.

I also didn't know if this lot would be the official meet or if it was just a place to get everyone together and then convey someplace else. Questions answered, I'll skip it.
