...and Adrian got first in STR - congrats to both of you! (good meeting you guys)

I think I'm working up the courage to race next time (waaaaay novice). Just gotta get the right tires for my stockers. Josh says I'll just chunk my S-02's if I race on them.

Yeah, that's about right.

Awesome! It's not a torque converter, it's an anti-lag device!

Too bad I am not going to be around for most of the last races of the season. I will likely be out of town this weekend, and at a fam reunion June 23rd and 24th. That means I will not be able to keep my 4th place overall for the class.

Oh well.

Next year. By then I will have strut bars and sway bars!

I raced my WRX on race tires for the first time. The BFG gforce tires were great! the driver was not....

I really need an alignment ASAP. All the wear on the front and rear were on the outside of the tire, the insides are perfect.

Time for a "Custom Alignment", unfortunetly not in time for Laguna Seca.

Guess what - I am in Boulder, CO! No more races for me, at least not in the Bay Area. Job market was so slow in SF that I had to accept a position out here. I am staying with my sister-in-law, so I may not see you guys again. I might be having a moving party over a weekend in July, because the day after I left, Amy fell down the stairs and broke both of her arms! I could use some help dragging couches around and stuff...

PM me guys, or email me at [email protected] if you think you can help - around June 12th - 14th I figure.

First off James, I'm really sorry to hear that about what happened to Amy. That hella sucks man. And I'm real sorry you have to be moving. Whos going to help me when I get caught by the police now?

But helping you move some couches and stuff is the least I can do to repay you for your help. But you meant July 12th-14th right? Because june12th has come and gone

Yes, actually I will be moving between July 5th and 6th, so I may arrange a moving party.

I found a house in Aurora - get this - 2 bedroom, living room, dining area, office, storage, 2 car garage, washer & dryer, hot tub, yard, on a culdesac, for ....

$995 a month!

Things are good.

I will also be selling my RS right soon. Anyone in Colorado interested? What do you think it's worth? Remember, it's an automatic....

OK James... moving is one thing... no longer racing is another... but selling the RS? What's the deal man? Did you just knock your head to hard when your dog pulled the vicegrip off your workbench??

Hope all is well though... How's Amy doing with her arms? I suppose I'm one of the few people who knows what it's like to have both arms injured simultaneously... Wish her well!

Well, I am moving primarily because I was laid off recently. With bills mounting and no income, I have come to realize that two new cars have nearly $1000 a month in payments. After I pay my bills I am lucky to have $300 to spend. So coming here is a good thing - cost of living is lower. But I have decided to sell the cars and live life a little more simply.

Here's my plans:

Get a 1991 XT or XT6
Swap the engine for a 2.5 or H6 3.0
Get an FJO system
Turbo the sucker
Restore the car to prime condition

Get the wife a circa-1988 Chevy K5 Blazer

Then I will consider racing the XT.

Right now I have no money left to buy any new toys for the RS, which sucks. If I ditch the payments I'll have like $1000 a month to spend on upgrades. That is more my style.

Plus, I can now afford to pay off all my other bills, like $15,000 in credit cards (no lectures, please! I know!) and eat out every once in a while.

I am just going to live life simplier.

On another note, my servers were dramatically hacked, and until I get them moved up here and hooked up, the will not be online, so emails can be sent to [email protected].

I will be buying a new domain for the XT, so RS25.com will be up for grabs sometime soon as well. Anyone interested? Servers not included!
