Default '07 WRX Stage 2 Pro-Tune

well,

got my suby pro-tuned at Harman Motive today, and even John and Dan thought my numbers were nice, which is an awesome compliment

so, without further ado...

mods are as follows:
Cobb TBE
APS 50/50 BOV (it's nice and quiet )
K&N Typhoon SRI

if it's hard to see, here's how it breaks down:

Cobb Baseline Stage 2 map: 229.88whp and 271.14wtq
Harman Motive 91 Octane Pro-Tune map: 243.21whp and 285.52wtq
Harman Motive 95 Octane Pro-Tune map: 252.99whp and 307.10wtq

i'm really stoked at how much harder the car pulls, yet it's also a lot smoother just driving around

HUGE PROPS go out to John and Co. at Harman Motive for tuning my car and thus making it even more enjoyable than before

thanx Harman Motive!!!!!!!!!

great #'s man! now get to the track and lay down some passes on the 1320! I do have a ? though... what made you go with the cobb setup instead of using an open ecu tune on a laptop? It would make sense that since you already are getting it tuned that would be a much cheaper way of getting the same results. please school this noob as i am at a cross roads on what to do with my 07. thanks!

hey,

i don't know if this'll help answer your question, but i went with Cobb because they have a great reputation, plus i got a great deal on my AP2

apart from that i'm still a suby-newbie myself

As with any power level on a 06+ WRX, the tranny should be fine if the driver treats it right.

Very nice numbers. That low end has to feel great.

oh, it does...especially at night when it cools down...
however, during the day, when it's 100+ degrees, it doesn't feel as good, though i look for every excuse to get in my car and drive around

he doesn't really need to. His tune was done with his atmospheric condition in mind.
His race gas runs were made without the big fan
and he never runs straight piss water 91

but a map for that (safe) was made for him anyway.

yeah, every time i fill up, i also add about 4 gallons of 100 octane just to be safe, especially with how hot it can get here

better safe than sorry...
