Default Rebuilding of an outback sport!

Hey everyone I'm AJ and I'm sharing a rebuild of a 2011 Subaru OBS that we're doing at Fox Auto. I'm rebuilding it for my personal car after selling my F-150. We bought the car and it has just over 2,000 miles on it. I had a 2001 2.5rs for a first car and LOVED it, so I had to get another suby. Anyway, I already installed a 2009 wrx rear sway bar on it, and am looking at putting STI suspension on it when winter breaks. Also, I'm getting rid of the two tone paint and painting all marina blue. Hope you guys enjoy, and if you have any questions hit me up! We have roughly 30 different wrecked subys ranging from older legacys to imprezas, wrx, sti's, etc.

Got some goodies in the mail today. Perrin short shift adapter, and the Perrin lightweight crank pulley. They were pretty straight forward to install. Got the car running, now all that is left is the paint!

^--It's very dusty from sanding the fenders, also if you were wondering whats on the doors its masking tape to keep from scratching them.

Thanks..it's been about a month of working on it and we're laying paint down today. I got my middle hatch spoiler FINALLY after 3 weeks of waiting for it. Just happy it got here on the day we decided to paint.

I've been curious about the waist spoilers for a while now. I will be cool to see it when it's painted and on.

Yeah I'm curious to see it on tomorrow. Got the bumpers, fenders, rock guards, and hood painted and cleared. Tomorrow we're going to do the main body of the car, and 'hopefully' I can get some pictures of it on the car. If not in a couple days at most. I'm debating on how to install it..double sided tape, or use windshield glue.

This is the 2nd of 3 coats, and obviously no clear coat. The color came out awesome! Gotta love having a paint booth and professional mixing station.

$203.00 shipped. www.subarupartswarehouse.com Being that its a Subaru made piece and pre-painted to match your car its WELL worth it! The car is finally all painted and will be ready to put all back together come Monday. The wheels on the car are scratched up so I'm thinking about powdercoating them a satin black and using them as winter wheels. I'm going to get some Rota G-forces in the spring. I would love to get XXR 527's but you have to run coilovers and streched tires with an 18" which is not a good DD..who knows..

Thanks man! Wet sanding it as I type! Will be all together by the end of the week, just waiting on headlights and a fender to arrive.

Well the fender and headlights arrived today. Painting the fender, door handles, and side moldings tomorrow. I got some sneak peak photos of the Satin Black pieces that are taking place of the silver it originally had.

Overall I think the Satin black goes great with the Marine Blue Pearl. Very happy with my decision. Hoping to be done with the wetsanding and buffing tomorrow. Assembly sometime next week.

Got everything back together and getting the alignment tomorrow. Really wish I would've lowered it before hand, but being winter time in Ohio and loving to snow drift, I'll just wait till spring time. I'm ecstatic with how it came out. I'm powdercoating the stock wheels Satin black to match the rest of the trim this weekend.

Thanks everyone! After the alignment and finding the spark plug cap not on all the way, it runs and drives awesome! I have 2 lights on though..hill assist and traction control. I only had a code reader and it wouldn't tell me anything about it. Monday I'll have a better unit to use. Anyone have any ideas what would be the problem? I couldn't find much on it using Mitchell on demand..
