Default 02 ABS ECU replacement doesn't require dealer to bleed, right?

Hey all,

I've an appointment on Friday to get my ABS ECU replaced in accordance with the TSB/Owner Notification I got a few months ago.

I just wanted to confirm that the replacement of the computer doesn't neccesitate replacement of the fluid-containing portion of the ABS computer. I'd rather not have the dealership have to bleed my brakes, and if they do absolutely have to, I wanna make sure the car goes in with a can or two of ATE Blue, since I need to do this anyhow.

Is the ECU integrated with the ABS actuation, or is it a seperate dry unit?

I found this after doing some research to see if I wanted to get the ECU replaced. When I talked to the service guy, they replace the whole hydrolic unit with the integrated ECU. This does require them to air bleed the brakes.

Hey, How do I find out about RECALLS because the abs on my car doesnt work and I bought it used and I know for a fact that it doesnt have warranty of any kind, so if there is a Recall on ABS maybe they can get it fixed in my car for Free!!
