Default Winter wheels that work with 2011 Wrx wagon?

I'm helping a friend find a set of winter wheels for his 2011 Wrx wagon. I would really like to find a used set of winter wheels, if not a wheel/tire combo, at-least a used set of wheels.

After searching it looks like the OEM 16 inch wrx wheels will work, what other wheels can I look for? I think OEM would be best as I would know I'm getting a quality wheel. But what size and offset should I be looking for 16+ inch wheels with a +45-+48 offset?

Thanks!

Tom

ive seen some oem 02 wrx wheels on a 2011, the specs on those are 16x6.5 55offset
so assuming that's the limit, anything larger in diameter, wider (to a certain point of course) and more aggressive offset (to a certain point) should work. i personally would look into maybe some 2010 wrx wheels they would look ok and there a pretty good size for winter.

Check The Tire Rack for wheels and fitment. then see if you can find those wheels used.... that's what I'd do.

Only problem is tire rack says 16's won't work, but people on this forum are running Oem 16's with no problems.
