BTW, after another week of ownership I am now 100% sure the dual tip is less db and lower in tone than the single tip.
Ok now I am just confused

After two weeks of ownership I feel the dual tip is 'quieter' than the single tip on a wagon. I have the only dual tip to compare.

Who the hell knows why it now sounds lower in db than my first impression...it just does. Its also an octave lower than the single tip. If any of you are in the north east you are welcome top visit me a hear for yourself.

I say you just don't remember your single tip anymore , but how am I to argue. I still say the single is a tinge quitier, maybe you had a small leak or somethign that a new gasket cured . At any rate. The duals will be shipping "any day now". I know I know it sounds like the software industry where they say "real soon now" but believe me I'd love to process the orders as we don't take a dime until they are ready. I left a message with our fabricator today and I hope to post something postitive on Monday

REDrum - your twin scroll uppipe is on it's way back from the coater....seems they have been as crazy as me lately. Can't wait for us to finish up this project.

WRXtasy05 - yes got some in last week give me a buzz.

OK....the word is all you boys with pre-orders should have your exhausts shipping on Wednesday. Woohooo. The first run is going to be shorted, with only half the units getting finished but it should be enough to handle the pre-orders I have in hand.

Guys,

I just got the track#'s today since I had these direct shipped. The last 3 went out today and I won't have the track#'s for those till tomorrow. I'll be emailing the track #'s I have in hand either tonight or tomorrow morning. We only got 7 units out(literally all of the pre-orders we had up to yesterday so everyone got covered). We have to wait now about 3 weeks before we are going to have any more due to some materials shortages so for that reason we're going to hold the same single tip pricing until the next order is done so you can place your order at the current price for another 3 weeks(ish). Remember we DO NOT CHARGE until the units are ready to ship(or within 48 hours of shipping if you want to get really specific), so place an order early because we process and have them shipped in the order we receive them.

bourne - very anxious for some more community opinion, let us know what you think.

Rich

Rich, instead of swapping out the no-flex intermediate pipe for the flex intermediate pipe... is there any way I could just put that towards the dual tip whisper catback? Let me know.

It's installed!! Just took it for a test drive!!

Fits great and looks absolutely beautiful. The reason I changed my exhaust in the first place is because I wanted something that was quieter and looked nice; I was getting tired of the coffee can look. The twin tip whisper is exacly what I was looking for. the tips are solid, shiney, and makes the car look sporty with a lot of class. The sound is great. Not too loud but definately a lot of low boxer rumble. It's pretty quiet when not getting on it and even then it's still quieter than my old exhaust and IMO sounds better.

I'll try to get some pictures and videos posted soon.

Kudos to Rich for making a great product!
