Just got my light bar from http://www.get-primitive.com
![]() For the install you need to remove the grill, headlights, and front bumper ![]() Don't forget this clip and the one at the back near the wheel well ![]() Once the bumper is off you need to remove the bumper beam bolts and install these sweet little markers ![]()

With the studs in place you put the bumper cover back up and press firmly against it. It'll leave little dimples on the back that you drill 1/4" holes into
![]() Then with the provided hole-saw punch these bad boys out ![]() ![]() Then it's just removing the studs, throwing up the bumper cover and bolting down the bar with the bumper beam bolts ![]() ![]() Last edited by Proper282; 04-06-2012 at 06:34 PM. |

Installed the lights and used some woven sheathing. Still need some ADL clamps to secure the harness

Awesome thanks for sharing. I check Primitive periodically and they have no details on in the install of these things on their website. Appreciate the pics.
Especially appreciate pointing out the mounting is accomplished by the bumper beam bolts (and markers to punch mark the cover) |

No problem. Overall the install was far easier than I thought it would be. Primitive makes it hard(but not impossible) to screw up.

Awesome, well done
I just ordered a bolt through bar for my 2012. It doesn't look like I will have quite as much clearance as your bar for big boy lights. I will have to wait and see once installed. |
