if you go onto cobbs site, each stage has their own economy map. DNLD with your mods which i beleive are the intake and no exhaust id probably download the stg 1 as you arent quite stage 2. you can monitor your a/f ratio with the cob. definatly get some logs. using the AP should raise your boost levels, not sure why your running only 7lbs right now though. but a good log will provide all the intel you need. if it were me id opt for a good tune and as there are none locally id contact clark turner which is what ive done and he will send you a good map. the cobb OTS maps arent the greatest.

so i just looked on cobbs site they do not have a stage specific economy map for the 05's, but they do have a stg1 with an intake map so that is what id use untill you get a good tune. but be careful and keep a close eye on your boost, AF ratio, and knock. you can monitor those individually with the AP. or get some good gauges(more accurate). What mods specifically do you have on this vehicle?

I'm not super worried about economy it would just be nice to save a little gas on my drive, ill probably pick up some gauges before I leave, I have an intake from what I know just a no name ( I didn't install it) and then the stock exhaust with no axle back, the rest is all suspension and drive line and some body mods with none of those will affect the ap so the stage 1 for the intake sounds like what I want

i'll help you do the gauges if you want. the ones id get first would be boost and a wideband A/F guage like the aem uego or the innovate. after that i am planning on getting an egt, oil pressure, and oil temp. first two are the most important though. so get those first. you will need an exhaust shop to weld on a bung for the A/F guage though. boost is fairly straight forward, i am also planning on putting in a mechanical fuel pressure guage under the hood.

I have the stock boost gauge on there but it reads in in some foreign measurement that I can't think of the name off the top of my head, so all I would have to do is switch out the gauge it's all wired already, but I wanna move it to the A pillar just cause I like the way it looks better

It probably reads in BAR instead of PSI.

use google to find a mpa to psi conversion calculator. for a referance 14psi is .0965 mpa 14psi is also roughly 1 bar of boost.

got the fuel pump in. it could just be a placebo effect but the car seems to be running smoother already. doing the injectors tmrw, if anyone wants to help let me know. ordered my protune also so i should have it tmrw. then its test drive time

I have done the conversion in the past gauge says .05 mpa which converts to just over 7 psi

so i got the injectors in. holy freakin crap that was a PITA. but its done now and would be easier next time. anyways. took a couple logs and sent them in. now im just waiting on the go ahead for the final log which is a WOT in fourth gear from 2k to redline. now i justhave to find a good safe place close by. i definatly recommend having a friend there when you do them you can do them alone but its much easier with 2.

Congrats Frank. If it all works out, I plan on getting some 850cc injectors and a 300lph fuel pump and going E-85! So I may need an experienced hand with injectors.

damn it lol. have fun down there. i usually go every year around halloween with my daughter but couldnt this year due to deployment. and yea ill help you when you get them. you may wanna just do the 65c like i did. its a direct fit and should flow plenty for e85 as thats what i wanna run as soon as we get a pump decently close. i think the closest one is that gas station right off 95. dont feel like driving 1hr to get gas. lol but i do wanna get the map for it anyways.

and on a side note the car was running much smoother even without the revised map. in S mode it is now running smoother than it previously was in S# which is already a big improvement. im still hesitant to give it boost though. but also so anxious...

I know how you feel man. I loved mine and it gave me nothing but problems. But Ill probably get another one after deployment. But now I know what to look for, how to modify and how to take care of it better. It sounds like the person before you didnt know what they were doing when they started modifying it and drove the crap out of it. Idk if this will help but here is a short video of my car when 3 out of 4 ringlands went bad.
