Big smile on my face. She doesn't know I have a new turbo. :devil smile:
Wish I could do this with my little brother but can't since he is over 14 hours (driving time) away.

i do the same thing except i tell people it's my BOV, and if they listen real close they can hear it go woosh.
the sad part is that most morons fall for it. thus i have no sympathy for their hearing loss.

Off the point I would like to point out the irony of anyone hating on the STi spoiler, saying it serves no real purpose when some of them spend their money on a set of extra loud, red, car horns...

I'm not sure about where you are, but living in the Greater Los Angeles area having a set of car horns that actually gets the other a-hole's attention when they do something dumb is useful. I cannot understate just how many careless drivers there are here.

A quick honk here and there is almost mandatory, several times a day for jerks who dangerously drift into my lane or back out of driveways and parking spots without looking/talking on the phone/gabbing with friends/etc. I don't do it out of spite, it's for my safety and theirs and collectively both of our wallets.

Context - I want new headlights, b/c mine suck.

Mom: You need to stop dumping so much money into that stupid car of yours. If you want new headlights, just buy a new car so you stop pouring money into this one.

Me: You're right! It makes SO much more sense to drop $20k on a new car than to buy a $500 set of lights. Silly me!

I told her if she bought me a pinto instead that she would find it at the bottom of a river...

Co-worker asked what I was doing tonight. I answered going to a car meet. He asked what I drove. I told him a subaru. He laughed and was like "a subaru?? Haha" I was just like (-_-) and asked what's so funny? He said "who takes a subaru to a car meet.."

Yeaa he obviously didn't know anything about cars. Pretty much most of the people I work with don't. This other guy stays bragging about his v6 camaro and keeps calling my car a rice burner.. smh lol

The first day I got my STi, I pulled into a gas station in Walsenberg and the attendant asks how I like my new Focus. I was so surprised all I could say was... "Umm it's a Subaru." Then I remembered this thread and thought "wow, it's already happening."

My community advisor of my dorm honked his horn at me. They laughed and I was hardly startled at the stock Honda horn.

I then pulled up with my car next to them all incognito-like and blazed my Hellas at them.

I've never seen 2 large guys jump so high!
