Great pics, found this thread and forum through looking for how to do the Cars look. I'm looking for a decent pic showing the Lightyear racing tyres, the ones on the tutorial gallery have the front wheels cut off in the wheelarch or the back wheels almost straight on, so where did you get these tyres from?

Front mount? What do you mean?
This one actually wasn't that easy, the way the angle was didn't really match up well with the mouths that I have. And I did a lot of color tweaking. I should have also put some eyes on the car in the background, but it was late. |

Can't figure out steps 9 and 10 for my class lesson on cars
Hi all, I am doing my first student teaching, and wanted to teach the seniors how to do their cars like this. I'm getting stuck on step 9 and 10. When I turn off the eye layer so I cannot see it, I use the pen tool on this same layer and draw around the window. (am I suppose to convert it to a mask or a path or something?), I then og up to select/all (modify is not availabe unless I first select word "all")/modify/feather and feather it 5.
I then go to select/inverse and nothing happens (am I suppose to be seeing the marching ants around my selection?) I then turn my layer with eyes back on and hit my delete button. Nothing happens. What am I missing? I would really appreciate you teaching the teacher. step 8 is cut off on the words "make sure the eyes...?" perhaps that could be something I do not know to do. Thanks, Toni |

where are the eyes mouth and noses?
Hi, please forgive me for posting again so soon, I forgot to add that the link does not have eyes and noses, but only a few full Pixar cars. Are you all getting your eyes and noses by lassoing those pixar cars, or is there a place that has these separately? Thanks, Toni
