This is my "Stage 2" 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX STi
The Bad: While at auto x noticed a large amount of blue smoke behind the car and noticed a large power loss, I drove the car back to the staging where I immediately shut it off (I have not I repeat I have not attempted to restart the car after this). After trailering the car home and assuming the turbo blew a oil seal (stock VF39) I drained the less 500 mile old Brad Penn Oil and pulled the turbo and found it was toast. Due to this I wanted to check for any other possible issues so I had a leak-down preformed, the result cylinder 4 failed miserably and the general consensus is the infamous ring-land failure.......... Having just purchased my wife a new Forester and attempting to purchase a house I am not in a financial state to fix this car so as much as it pains me I need to sell it ASAP. This car will make a perfect starting point for someone trying to build a rally car or track car.
