Question for 08/09 WRX hatchback owners...
if any of you have the Perrin or Borla exhaust for the hatchback...any chance I could swing by or meet up with you to hear your exhaust? I will (hopefully sooner rather than later) be buying a 2009 WRX and am torn between these 2 exhausts, and the video/sound clips don't always do the exhausts justice (depending on camera/mic).
Shoot me a PM if youwould like to help me out. I am located in Loma Linda Thanks. Eric

I like how the newbie is telling me about this...
First off...I didn't say I would put it on there the second I got it. Second... I have enjoyed the WRX stock...the first year I owned my 04. Third.... The whole point of this thread was to see if anyone had 1 of these already for me to hear, not to hear suggestions about what I should or shouldn't do to my car. |

I am leaning towards that, the only thing holding me back is that I had the Borla for my previous WRX and I loved it when it was my only mod... I was hoping the new 2008/9 WRX exhaust sounded similar. I really like the toned sound of the Perrin though...thus the dilemma.

I thought the SPT was 2.75"? I could be wrong... If the guy is looking at a Perrin or Borla, I highly doubt he'll be satisfied with the near-stock sounding SPT unit.

I know I can get the SPT for cheap, but I am not interested in getting a killer deal, I just want to hear the difference in the two exhausts I mentioned first hand.

Exactly. Yet another reason I will not be going back to Chino Valley Subaru. I ask for one thing and they try to sell me another.
