Need a bit of help
I come from the Evo world and I needed a new DD. I'm planning to buy a forester as one since it has a lot more room and I wanted the boxer sound lol.
Can someone identify the year and the front bumper of this forester for me please? I've been trying to search for it since I think its an 06-08 body with an after market bumper? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Not quite Matt.
Officially that is a pre-facelift SG-chassis Forester (MY03-05). The front end is the JDM Cross Sport bumper with foglights. It has the JDM Crossfire lip and foglight surrounds. He is using the JDM Forester STi grille and headlight trim panels. It also has the JDM side spats with the JDM aero rear bumper combined with the JDM Cross Sport side skirts (same as USDM MY06-08 skirts). He also has the JDM HID headlights modified to work for LHD. |

Amuse3d just get a 04-05 XT and you don't have to do the STi swap. It comes with the 2.5L STi motor, but smaller WRX Turbo and WRX TMIC. Engine wise you just have to upgrade the Turbo , Down pipe & Intercooler and your set.
Hard part is finding it 5MT in good condition. But there have been alot of happy 4EAT on the forums. By the way the STi hood scoop is from the '03 Bug Eye. Stock is about a inch shorter. |

Lowered Foresters and blue vehicles with gold rims just do not appeal to me one bit :/ I'm getting the new Forester because it's got the ground clearance to take me to new places :P To each their own, I suppose.

I got mine because you can't go over speed bumps in a Mustang.. J/K....my last Mustang had way too much power and was always breaking things from too much torque. |

This is why I love foresters. They have best of both worlds for 1 package. Can be tracked on road, and can be driven offroad!
