Default Tribeca sales

This is from the June sales figures off the Subaru site.
The all-new Subaru B9 Tribeca posted 1,540 units for the month of June. 2005
For 50 states... that is 31 cars per state..
Looking at this fourm, with it's 12 posts... is anyone buying these cars ?
Someone in another post said they were selling 2000 per month..
Does anyone else bump into another Tribeca owner ? I'm in NW New Jersey... I have seen 5 of them since our purchase in June.
Are we a rare breed or what ?

The car launched at the end of May with No TV advertising until July. June was the first real month of sales of a vehicle no one knew about. Currently sales are twice as much.

You really can't do a "per state" comparison as Subaru sales are definitely regionalized. The one Subaru Dealership in Mississippi definitely did not have 31 Tribeca sales I assure you (or even total Subaru sales).

<<<< i see them fairly often up here in MA >>>>>

We were up in Maine for a vacation a few years back when I had my Outback. First time I saw more than 2 Outbacks or any Subaru's at any one time. Lots of Subuars up there... Maybe that's where 1000 from June were sold ?
It just seem that with a dealer only 8 mile away, I never see a Tribeca around. Even my wife, that drives through that area, hasn't seen more than one.

I've only ever seen one here in Ga. But, there really aren't as many Subaru's here as there are in other parts of the country...

Here in NY we see more and more Tribecas, but not enough that ours has stopped getting compliments. When another one comes along there's always a friendly honk and we get a lot of interest from Outback owners in parking lots and at lights. It's a rolling conversation piece.

The above link gives the story on B9 sales. Over 2K per month, but still short of what they wanted. Gas prices slammed the whole SUV market and that sure didn't help. Still looks like the B9 will be around for a while. A few tweaks and it'll be a near perfect crossover.
