Moving, Meeting, Emissions
I am a prod owner of a 2014 WRX, located in NC but moving to LA area (Rowland Heights) in November.
My car has a perrin intercooler, intake, and invidia cattless downpipe, whats gonna happen when it comes time to inspect? Will I need a CA inspection to change the plates to California plates. Also, I won't know anyone, so if anyone is down to meet up and make a new friend and drink some beers let me know.

*Just read the Sticky, apparently I will have to put it to stock to pass Smog when I move, could I just place a "cat" back in the exhaust somewhere so it will be easier to remove after the test, I don't have my stock cat back, sold it to some guy on here before I knew I would be moving.

If it isn't stock make sure it has a C. A. R. B. Tag on it. Some intakes will be stamped for use in CA.

Is it a Perrin intake? Cobb and AEM make CARB exempt intakes for the 2014. Down pipe will need to be stock to pass the visual portion of the test.
