I'd much rather have a 17x8 than a 18x7.5

They're a little heavier than some of Rota's other wheels, but other than that, you can't go wrong with the design.

^^ agreed. If you want a "similar" style to the Tarmac with less weight, try the P1....18" only weigh around 19.5-lbs each.

Like I said, you can't go wrong with it, and the couple of pounds of extra weight is a moot point for most people. |

I just picked up a set of 17x7.5" Tarmac II's as winter wheels...nice wheels. They are a bit on the heavy side...gotta be close to 19lbs, but for the price they're great.

thanks for the input
i'm more or show and go guy so i'll take the penalty for the 18" size (i'd rock 19's if i thought i could)...as long as they are lighter than factory, the Konigs are 19-something each so that's my reasonable goal but honestly...i was looking at the enkei RPF-1 as being a not super expensive light weight wheel, but at double the price for the same size and only 2-ish lbs lighter i can't justify it and the royal tarmacs are pretty hot i have to say |
