Default issues after clutch install?

I had taken my MY03 wrx to Revolutions Performance in Colorado for a clutch install. Once I picked the car up I noticed a grinding sound from the under side of my car. I had taken it back and had the heat shields checked twice and was told it might be a faulty cat or res. I changed my catback and the issue still persists. I makes a high pitched grind at 3500 under throttle in 2nd-5th. I have personality checked the drive shaft joints, heatshields, full exhaust, and all visible bolts linked to the tranny and shafts, to no avail. If anyone has an idea of what it may be, your knowledge would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Troy-

A few vids that may help.

Did you have them drive the car? Adam runs a pretty good shop so if there is a problem he will correct it I would think. Dont waste too much time taking it back to him.

What about the downpipe hitting the trans? or the subframe or the tranny cross member?

Out of curiosity what kind of clutch? Any noise on decel or engagement. Any shuddering? Only happening at slower speeds? Does it go away at any speeds or does it remain constant?

Did they put a flywheel in the car? I'd go through every bolt and make sure it's all tight. While you are at it, check for anything being bent.

An EXEDY stg II Clutch and light weight flywheel had been installed I want to say on the 25th. I called them friday and made an appointment to take it in on the following tuesday. They said heatshields or exhaust so both myself and a revo tech did an inspection. The issue persists ONLY when in gear and off the gas. A vibration can be felt in the back seat just over the driveshaft. A few other things I found was three of my front lugs had fallen off and four I unscrewed by hand causing my wheel to begin to wallow out. My rears had been to spec like I left them two months ago when I did my stoptech kit. Also reverse now must be double clutched and they left a ratchet and duel extension in the engine bay. Needless to say any ammo I can get from you guys to get this fixed correctly is more than appreciated.

WOW! A subaru Cd and a couple of hours, Plus the money you paid them could have bought you all the tools for you to do it yourself. Sounds like a FUBAR, I feel bad for you.
That ratchet they left behind would be imbedded in his FUCHen FACE!!!!!!

Did you check the driveshaft carrier bearing? The one just aft of the shifter? If loose, it makes some horrendous noises. Also check all suspension bolts and make sure everything is tight.

^^ I'm with him. Take a good look at the center support bearing bolts and make sure they didn't mess up the spacers on it. If they did it could be lowered enough where the rear diff mount shield could be hitting the driveshaft.

Ok I'll put her on stands and run over the underside once more and raise hell tomorrow with the owner. Thanks for your time everyone.
